TF2 CoG Server - Reserved Slots

UPDATE: Reserve Slots are now LIVE

It seems more and more recently we've run into the situation where CoG members want to join up to our community server, only to find smelly pubbies taking their spot. UNIMAGINABLE. So Liquid and myself have implemented Reserve Slots!

Basically how it works is there will be a "reserve slot" always open, and if the server is full and a player connects that is on the reserve list, it will boot a "public" player. This will require us running the server at maxplayers of 25 (24 + the hidden reserve slot).

We will be assigning "reserve slot status" to every player in the CoG community, but this is unfortunately a manual thing. So I've compiled a list of SteamIDs from the people I've seen the most playing. If you've found yourself getting kicked off the server for not being on the list, please post a link to your Steam Community Profile page and I'll add you so you won't be out in the cold.

How do you find your Steam Profile page? In Steam, click on Community, and then Profile. Paste the URL here.

It's not a slight if I didn't put you in the list initially. I just went to the CoG Steam Group and started the process of looking up SteamID's of member's who owned TF2 and I recognized as having been on the server recently. Hence the thread asking for any one I may have overlooked.

But it does mean I hate Random51 and hope TF2 formats his computer, just don't tell him I said that.

I will kill you! There should be a rule of no slots for ugly jerkheads who's name has "iha" in it. Also, what are the criteria for making room for reserved slots? Is it last hire, first fire? or some sort of criteria based kicking?

SourceMod's reserve system chooses the player with the highest latency who is not on the reserve list.

Looks like the Reserve Slots are indeed working, only thing to keep in mind that if you try to join and don't instantly get in, still lock in the Auto-Retry. If there are multiple people trying to join at the same time, the mod needs to sort them out (reserve vs. pubbie), but rest assured you will get in fairly swiftly.
