So, I would'nt have given this game a second thought really after seeing gameplay trailers over the last few months. But, actually playing it is a completely different story. Suddenly I feel like I'm in Spider Man 2 again.

Did anyone pick this up? I've been obsessively playing this the last few days and have been enjoying the free form roaming of it.

Although I hate the camera when you start to walk on walls and are on the highest points of the city because it just locks itself right above your head.

Oh yea, and I don't think I've seen Spidey look this good before...

Not sure if there was thread on this or not...but I know it was mentioned by a few who were playing it via weekend thread I believe. I know Spigot was playing it...or wanted to. I know those few who were playing it, said the same you are stating. I have it down to be rented after my glut of games I have now.

You can find me echoing a lot of what you've said here. I like what I'm playing. The camera sucks at times and the lock on can be a bit aggravating when trying to save citizens or other things, but still - I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Let's see. Open city sandbox design? Check. Crappy camera? Check. Crappy lock-on system? Check. Still fun to play? Check.

Sounds like your run of the mill Spidey game. Which sounds good to me, I'll have to add it to my Gamefly cue.

Yea, the lock on thing is what's really bugging me considering once you do lock on you can't really do much to get out of it. But, yea...it's an otherwise decent Spidey game....
