FarCry 2 and ATi 4850...

FarCry 2 is acting really weird. I am running it at 1440x900 at "Very High" with no AA and its running at 35FPS. If I do turn on AA, the performance hit is 3-5 FPS, as long as I do it before starting the game. If I do change it during gameplay, the framerate goes down to single digits.

Ive had a few issues with it also with my 4870 ( rendering issues and what not ). Everything was fixed by updating my drivers and applying the hot fix AMD released for this game tough. I havent noticed anything weird with AA tough, ill have to test this later on.

That hotfix is for dx10 and Xfire. I am running it on XP. will try to install it anyway.

EDIT: the hotfix fixed it up. Now I must restart in normal.
