Judging from the amount of booze in one photo and lack of color on the walls i'm gonna bet that you are a student... lol ... although the floor is remarkably clean for a student... hmmm.

Sheeeit, that is a sweet desk, dotbomb!! I really like the display cabinet in the background there as well.
I'm having my loft renovated at the moment, so I can't post any pics yet, but here's what's in the setup when everything is done:
Audio
Denon AVR-5308ci
Totem Acoustics Hawk (LR mains - bi-amped)
Totem Acoustics Rainmaker (Centre and LR Surrounds)
Denon DVD-2930ci
Video
Sony VPL-HS50 projector
Dell 32" 3201C TV
Dell 27" 2708WFP monitor
Denon DVD-2930CI
MacPro 8-core 2.6GHz as an HTPC

Thanks. I get a lot of complements on it. The cool thing is the desk was relatively cheap for how it looks and holds up. It is part of the Kathy Ireland collection. The cabinet behind it was easily 2-3x the price but I don't know why.
this new sub is a pain in the ass to set the volume its set on a blinking light instead of a knob.

Ha. No, I'm 28 and have been out of college for 5 years. I keep a rather neat apartment; I hate clutter.
I buy different booze whenever I get a hankering for a new taste, but rarely drink large quantities of it so it adds up (which is convenient for when people are over and want a choice).
As far as the naked walls go, I've been moving essentially every year since college as I get paid better each year and "upgrade" my apartment status. Doing so makes me real lax in constantly hanging stuff. Plus, I'm kind of a minimalist. Should the Phillies go to and win the World Series though, I plan on getting a huge ass banner to hang.
Edit: Plus, I haven't ever known a college student who could afford the mass quantities of electronics and media that I have amassed over the past 5 years. I'm learning to cut back on games and movies though as I'm saving for a house

I was one of the architect's for this company's office fitout a few years ago. They had a party to show off the space with a raffle with several prizes. The biggest prize was this chair, which I happened to win. They were glad that someone involved in the actual project had won it.

God, I have always wanted an Aeron chair. Sometimes if I end up sitting at the computer for too long my back gets all funky and sometimes it even gives me mild heartburn (I know, wtf). I imagine a thousand dollar chair would fix all my problems!

It is pretty comfortable, especially when leaning back into it. When sitting straight up to type etc, I notice no difference from a normal chair. The seat portion can be a little on the firm side, but I still like it a lot. I definately prefer it over my work desk chair or my previous PC chair at home.
That mild heartburn you get in your chair is eerie. Might want to get that checked out!

I'm pretty sure it's because I like my desk chairs really high and then I have to slouch over the keyboard. I have great posture!

My setup is very simple:
Dorm room: Laptop.
Fuck the world.
Oh, but our chairs are cool. Everybody knows the habit of, at a desk, leaning onto the back legs and the like. Well, our school probably got tired of kids going over backwards and of broken chairs. Picture, because I can't explain: http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/9614/magicchairsminiww4.jpg

Ooo, Samsung. I'm so sorry. :) Don't get me wrong, I like Samsung. Almost all of my video-type electronics are Samsung at the moment but I won't replace them with the same. They have little things that go wrong that annoy the crap out of me.
I should have stuck with my instinct despite the higher price tag: Sony. I have an old skool Sony Mavica digital camera that is eight years old and there has never been a damn thing to go wrong with it. My $350 Samsung camcorder? The batter lock button fell off within two months. See, little stuff. lol Usually not stuff that disables the equipment but things that are really annoying.

I wish you luck on it. :) I've had mine since '04 and had one major repair but that's not what bugs me. What bugs me is I have a vertical, light blue line about 4 inches long right in the middle of the screen. The repairman called Samsung about it and they said it is essentially a birthmark on Samsung TVs like mine and there's nothing to be done about it. Lovely.

That's crazy. My mom's Dell plasma does the same thing, only with a black line... and it's not right in the middle. It's about 3/4 way to the top of the screen. We can usually get it to go away by turning off the TV and turning it back on - but it's starting to get more frequent, and Dell said they couldn't do anything about it. *psh*

Just moved into a new house and its a work in progress. Just bought a new 37" LG HDTV which may look a tad small in the pic, but its actually a perfect size for the room. The laptop is a Thinkpad T60p, which I love.

And here is my desktop up in my bedroom. I use KRK Studio Monitors for speakers which sound yummy. The comics are a trade of Fables and issue 4 of Kick Ass.

Are those cans AKGs? That's a nice sound system.
Really good speakers are too expensive, so I'm just tricking out my headphones. I got a pair of Sennheiser HD555s and an Audigy X-Fi for my PC, and I've been thinking about getting a headphone amp for them as well.

They are indeed. AKG K240s. They were the best sound for the $$ I wanted to spend. Sound great, and are nice and comfy for extended wear. I use an M-Audio Delta 1010 for my soundcard. Great clean sound. Definitely not great for a gaming system though, all the DirectSound stuff is handled by the CPU instead of the usual hardware on your typical Creative Audigy card.
I used to do recording/mixing for my friend (http://www.myspace.com/nathancogan)who is a singer/songwriter.

I noticed the same thing about the phones I just got. I'm used to closed headphones and these ones are open, so the sound is much cleaner and easier on the ears. It also means everyone in the room can hear me blaring KISS, but that's just something I've learned to accept.
Now I'm at University, my setup is all over the place. I've got my Samsung Syncmaster 206BW 20" LCD, which everything gets passed through. No point investing in a switcher, as there's not much space to put it really on this tiny desk. Older consoles get passed into it via Composite to a cheap VGA box, which means any rhythm games (Pretty much all I play on it...) needs to be heavily offset. And that's a pain in the arse to time for some games.
For audio, it's a bit more complex. Old Z-540 4.1 speaker set, except I've only got two speakers. The 3.5mm jack for the forward pair lost it's end, so only outputs the right channel... so I've got the front left channel looping through the rear input to give me actual stereo. Add to that my Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones and, if I'm in the mood, my ATH-A55's for a bit of awesome. All the audio itself is pulled through my PC where it's thrown about into a horrible mess.
Consoles are PS3, 360 and PS2, with my GC boxed away for safe keeping... and space.
At home, I have monitors from an old, but originally rather expensive hi-fi that we had lying around the house. Figure way back when that I should grab them and the rest of the system itself. Entirely made of separates, I have no idea about any model numbers. I just miss them =( My desk was awesome as well, a huge beast inset into the corner of my room with enough room my monitors, all the kit I have here, two 17" CRT monitors and my old 14" CRT TV for a bit of old style Beatmania IIDX action.
So, all in all, cables everywhere (Don't mention networking... god, that's a nightmare), but it works. And I've already been typing far too long =S
