It's pretty ordinary except for the use of Stardock's Fences. Fences is one of Stardock's special side projects and, as you can see, it's used for managing icon clutter. Here's a demo of what it can do:

My desktop icons tend to be a complete fucking mess so lately I just hide the stuff and look at it through Explorer if necessary.

Usually my desktop isn't so tidy, but I only recently got it fixed. A folder dedicated to the site I work for is also tucked behind the sidebar (just above a misc. junk one), so there is more there.

Also, technically, I have a new background for NaNoWriMo - which those two Word doc. in the second column also belong to - but I imagine I'll got back to this after November.

I left that on there to see if anyone would notice. I thought seeing a cat in a litter box would be distracting enough. I had a professor who loved the word "stuff". So I often label folders "blank" stuff. As for the more interesting part of the folders name...lol...troll is not what it means in a forum. Not troll as trolling a thread. Troll as in...well a troll. Troll is simply an old nickname. It's a long story...but yes there is a troll pic...a purple haired troll.
