Night of the Werehog

There's a new trailer for Sonic: Unleashed up and it's.... strange, to say the least.

It's a very Halloween oriented trailer, but I'm wondering how much of this relates to the actual game or if it's just a viral advertising attempt.

I'm afraid I have little hope for the game at this point. Given the success of recent Sonic attempts + the inexplicably bizarre "werehog" idea, it would be a miracle if this turns out to be good.

Somehow I thought this was about a Wallace and Gromit game.

The wedgehog mechanic soured me on Sonic Unleashed as well. Another factor in my decision-making process was that it's going to be a full-price game. That trailer was interesting though.

Yeah I'm confused on this as well. I'm not sure if it's just advertising, or if they're actually making some kind of movie to go along with the game.
