Thought it might be helpful to have a catch-all thread for this.

Question: Will the layout stay at a fixed width (for front page and/or forums view), or might it change to fill the width of the browser? I know there are pros and cons for both layouts.

Suggestion: It'd be nice to have a more prominent link to the Forums on the front page.

Comment: I like the header image. Nice illustration and colors. (The star in "OF" looks like a Mario shine, too.)

Nothing is finalized as yet... Believe me, Mike is working on everything.

On the long to-do list we are thinking up more cool user titles. Now, I'm not sure how EvAv worked, but did you not have to be at least subscriber class to change user title?

If the above is true, the donation idea once we unload it (the seven founders paid for 6 months of hosting and the software ourselves) would include such a thing I'm sure.

Aside from the frequently mentioned central forum to avoid community splintering (which already seems to be happening, the PiRi crew seem to be pretty hesitant about CoG), I really like the Network Feeds section, as it really creates a sense of a community amongst the sites, and it'd be nice to see that more either the main page or a prominent part of the main page, to track what's going on amongst the sites.

Under Pictures and Albums, is there any way to change what order images get displayed?

I love having that box on the front page that lets you log in, and when you're logged in, links to the User CP and Log Out, and shows your PM count.

Layout: Fixed width. Unfortunately you have a web designer running the show now.

Forum links/navigation issues: Forthcoming, we're reworking a lot of what you'll see on the front page.

Other issues: I haven't an effing clue. Ask the backend guys.

I agree this is a problem.
I know it must be difficult to find a resolution with so many competing forums, but if you want a tightly bound community, the forums are the core...

Yeah, I would like this too. It's pretty much where I go straight away when I view someone's profile.

Can we have the most recent posts bar appear on the forum page in addition to the main page? I find that the easiest way to browse current activity and it only shows up on the main page.

I've always wanted this. Drives me crazy that 3 letters is off limits. Last time I complained, though, people just told me to use google search instead. :(

Yeah, I would find the search feature so much more functional if it found the stuff we talk about most (and so tend to acronym-ify).
