There's a new Dungeon Siege coming out of Square Enix and Obsidian. I wasn't into the previous entries (tried the demo of one and it bored me silly), but color me surprised and impressed.

I'll be hunting down more information. If you know anything, please share.

I've tried to get into each Dungeon Siege game (before my PC died) and always left wanting a more Diablo-like experience, although I know that is what DS emulates. It just never matched what I was expecting.

Wow. Different publisher and developer and all of a sudden the game looks interesting.

I loved the other two Dungeon Siege games so much. 3 will be an automatic purchase.

Agreed, this looks fantastic. I played a lot of the first game but eventually gave it up. The second I never tried.
Getting closer and closer to a new PC purchase...someday. I'm making a tally of all the games I need to snag.

Sadly, that intro bit is the actual framerate when played.

Is Burt Reynolds in this, too? :P

It seems they have just mashed up Rogue-likes and DMC.'Diablo 3 doesn't look so hot now.

I was also getting the DMC feel. Very much hoping this turns out to be more action oriented than your average Diablo cone.

Looks like a MUST BUY for me! I loved the first one, but never got into the style and gameplay of the second one. This one looks a lot like the first game!
For some odd reason, I always played DS1 as a red-haired farmgirl named "Bob". I started up a game of NWN using a male Ranger named "Bob" and my daughter said, "Daddy, Bob is a girl's name!"

That movie has possibly the worst cast-to-quality ratio in the entire history of cinema. It might be tied with Mutant Chronicles. Interestingly enough, they both star Ron Perlman.

I actually kinda liked Mutant Chronicles :p

I enjoyed the first, but I couldn't get past the intro of the second, it was so dull.
Still, I'm always up for a bit of fantasy fun gameplay. I'll keep an eye on this one.
