The more things change, the more things stay the same. Everyone is talking about the "new" EA and it's pledge to quality. But they still are going to be on every platform available.

"Android is another exciting new platform to offer customers great games with enhancements like touch and tilt capabilities," said EA Mobile vice president Adam Sussman.

The full story is over on Yahoo (http://tech.yahoo.com/news/afp/20081030/tc_afp/usitvideogamestelecomcompanyea).

Tetris is up first but here is an idea of what they have in store.

EA Mobile has versions of "Tetris," "Bejeweled," and "Monopoly" and other games available for BlackBerry handheld devices and smart phones built with Microsoft's Windows software.

The California company has customized mobile versions of "Spore," "Tetris," "Sudoku," and "Scrabble" for Apple's hot-selling iPhones.

I've seen some interesting motion games for iphone, and JOYity seems like it would be fun if people were playing. JOYity on android seems like a game that use the GPS to play like city wide hide and seek or something. Tomorrow there is even supposed to be the launch of Parallel Kingdom (http://www.parallelkingdom.com/home.shtml).

Parallel Kingdom brings new meaning to Role Playing Games by using GPS to place the virtual world on top of the real world.

I think we need to try a little harder than Tetris. People have watches that play tetris.
