Watching The Expendables last week has left me hankering for the good old days, both in movies and gaming. This got me to thinking - some of the best times I've ever had on Xbox LIVE was when a hardcore group of us set up GRAW Tuesday's over at EvAv.

I would like to rekindle those burning embers. Who's with me?

"There are beans in the burrito. I repeat, there are beans in the burrito!"

(I do understand a lot has changed since then, what with the move from EvAv to CoG, etc.)

Oh god, please no. That would be enough to make be buy GRAW again and resub to XBL. I don't need to be spending more money.

I'd also be down, Fitty, but I'd have to purchase the game again. Let's see who's in.

Oh hell yeah. I'm pretty sure I still have GRAW too. Need to get Bap in on that, as he's the one who actually uttered that meorable line.

$4.99 (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=39276). You know it's worth it. :)

I no longer have my GRAW but ODST and MNC both have awesome border patrol-esque modes that I would love to throw down in.

Man, I love GRAW. I Goozex'd both copies away though and my 360 is dead :(

Used to have a good Co-Optimus group going at one time.

I'll have to sit this one out.

If somehow I do end up playing this again, I am going to teamkill you so hard.

Pfft, that's a tradition that apparently still lives on in just about any FPS I've played with this community.

Oh fuck yes. I've missed those days. Thanks to my habit of never getting rid of my games, I've still got copies of both GRAWs. I'm not sure how many others are going to be up for it, but if there're enough, there's a no-bean burrito policy that needs enforcin'!

I'd be down for some GRAW, I can't remember when the last time was I played a game with any of you guys.

Haven't played GRAW in a while (but I think I still have it). A few of us have been playing GRAW2 intermittently for old times sake. :D

I still say if not for a rickety ass lobby interface (especially with how we had to keep shutting off DLC if just one person didn't have EVERYTHING) that game would've had way more legs.

Still have my copies of GRAW and GRAW2. Out of all the 360 games I've sold in the past, I've refused to sell those. Some odd respect.

Honestly, if they don't have all the DLC, should you really be playing with them?

Okay, so it looks like there's a respectable amount of people willing to rekindle the memories. Next question - when? We used to have these nights every Tuesday. That would probably work for me if I can get my girlfriend to go to dinner with her friends or something.

What say y'all?

It was often that ONE map you had to get through the game via registering on the website (or something) that usually fucked it up for people.

As to bootsy's question, Tuesdays I'm often out of the house, but then again being a west coaster I'm usually late to the party anyway. :p

I wish I didn't suck so much at shooters. I'm honestly so bad I'm usually dead within a minute or two. That, and I feel "weird" talking into a headset. I feel like I miss out so much on gaming because of my handicaps. :(

Why I have XBL I'll never know. The last time I played online was with Kato, rinni and pronononononon (I think torre even jumped in for a bit) and that was, I think, two years ago now.

I still do feel weird as well. I'm getting a little better...but I mumble a lot, so even if I do talk, people have no idea what I'm saying :(

In games like GRAW, you can always just be the heavy machine gun guy and follow others around and lay down covering fire. You'll usually get some good kills by just hanging back and spamming the countryside.

But see, this is GRAW. With my usual crew, I'm literally the guy in the bus. I'm in charge of the drone, sweeping it ahead of my guys trying to sniff out the baddies. Yes, I do a fair deal of sniping/grenade launching, and in Territory Defend I'm one of the guys with the noisemaker (LMG). But other than that, I'm usually hanging back staring at the map a lot.

Yeah, and your handicaps still resonate to this day whenever we play together online. It's always like:

"Do you hear that, guys?"
"What?"
"That sucking sound?"
"Hm? Oh...oh, yeah. I hear it now. I FEEL it."
"Yeah..."
"Adrian."
"Yeah."

Then there's an uncomfortable silence before everyone starts shooting again.

Forgive me, I had eaten a lot of broccoli that day.
