The show for Wednesday, October 29th is now available here (http://ingamechat.net/audio/IGC20082910.mp3).

Fallout 3 is nearly all we have to offer in this episode, and if you’ve played the game at all you'll know exactly why. Of the three hosts present in this episode, none of us has gotten past the first real turning point after having left our vault sweet vault, yet the air is already thick with stories and comparisons of one experience to another. Discussing how we chose to spend our formative years in vault 101, as well as the manner of our leaving, has given unto us a podcast bounty. Assuming you’re not squeamish hearing about character creation, we invite you to share the bounty within.

In all fairness to the rest of the world, stuff happens regardless of any triple-A title that may have dropped into our lives. Penny Arcade Episode 2 is ready for us now, and Tomb Raider, Banjo-Kazooie and Mirror’s Edge demos demand to be heard, seen and played. We just don’t know where the time is going to come from, but we promise strong opinions of all the above based on at least a little bit of playtime for our next meeting.

Vault Loyalty Inspector? Isn't that what you were basically being by redoing all the conversations to see how they played out?

I wanted the Mass Effect conversation system to be where every direction was an emotion or personality trait and the 8 points on the wheel would always be the same. That way I could go through the game roll playing instead of choosing dialog.

I can't hear that song at the end w/o thinking of this.

The way you guys talked about Fallout 3 made it sound a bit like a Deus Ex game made by Bethesda

Ha! That's a very good point. No wonder I hated being called out on it. Goddam G.O.A.T saw right through me. :D

I chose a female character and the other girl is there, and I think the dialog options are the same... though she reacted to my advances in a negative way.

honestly I didn't know my character had lesbian tendencies till I chose a particular dialog option... no wonder none of the boys liked me :/

You know, I had no idea the chick being interogated was Amata. I saw a couple guys beating up on someone, went in and shot them both in the head, and left. Amata didn't even saying at the exit to the tunnel.

Other than that, I got a little bit of a sour taste because I didn't realize that the first waypoint on "Following in His Steps" was an underground entrance and was wondering around downtown D.C. for a long time, which of course meant I got killed fairly often (and you cannot reach the radio station without going that route). At one point I had three crab-things, two super mutants and a centaur chasing me with about five bullets in my pistol. :p

I just decided to finish Fable II and go back to it, but it's really my own fault, since I refuse to reload games unless I'm in an impossible situation. ;)

I just finished listening to the end of the show and as far as shooters, I don't have a PS3 but alot of people are excited for Resistence 2, aren't they?

Anyway, I'm a little confused as to the new recording times. I know it used to be a live hour and a recorded hour on Mondays, then another recorded hour Thursdays. Is it now an hour each Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, or Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or something? I know the turnaround time for posting them differs (Monday's was awesome, btw), but I'm not sure when they're recorded now.

Well, we do the live show Monday, of course. Then we come back and record a show Wednesday night. Then we come back and record a show Thursday night.

As for when they go up...well, the usual schedule would be akin to Penny Arcade - Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays.
