It was out last week.
I have it and it's most excellent. If you've played Calamity Trigger and enjoyed it, you will love CS. New robust story mode with gag reels for most of the characters, plus CS's story mode fills in a lot of the questions left from CT and creates new and more interesting ones. There's also a new "Advise Me, Dr. Kokonoe" segment in case you get a "bad ending" in story mode. These are similar to the "Teach Me, Boobie Lady" story tips from CT (those are back too!), except it's Kokonoe and she'll hint at what you should do to avoid the bad ending. Extremely well produced stories and all the voice actors are back and in top form.
The 3 new characters (Tsubaki, Lambda, Hazama) are pretty unique and good... except that Tsubaki is the new Jin and Jin well is still Jin.
The Legion mode is kind of meh, but the tutorial mode is really good and so is the re-tooled training and network modes. There's just so much good stuff in here and it's totally worth $40.
I can't believe I'm the only one playing it on the 360 ATM... but well actually, I guess I have Starcraft 2 to blame for that.
Anyway, if anyone else picks it up and is looking for a fun player match. Let me know. :)
