It's with a sad heart that I realize I can't go (yet again) to PAX this year. But my sadness doesn't have to be your sadness! Not knowing what twists and turns my life take I bought a 3 Day pass way back when (which I've yet to receive in the mail) and will send it along to the winner. I only ask a few things:
1. To enter, you just post in this thread.
2. You must have been a member for at least 7 months and have a minimum of 50 posts. I do want this to go to a member of the community.
3. You have to promise (which I obviously can't hold you accountable to) to use the pass, and not re-sell it. I'm banking on community trust here, as if I wanted to I'm sure I could get the full price for the pass.
4. You must buy someone a beer. Preferably a CoGger, but anyone will do. Again, I can't hold you accountable for this but I'll put my faith in the winner.
I know by now most people have got their passes already, so this is probably not going to get much action. But in case you live near by and were thinking about going, or were waffling about it maybe I can help things along. For those of you that are going, if you know someone who could use the pass (someone worthy and of noble character!) that isn't a member of CoG PM me and I'll probably include them in my random generator if they've got your vouching.
Contest ends Friday Sunday, August 1 at 5:51 PM CST. When I get the pass I'll just send it along to the winner. Er, if no one enters (or I find an entry entirely too suspicious ;)) I'll just...sell the pass, I s'pose.
