If you own an iPad, download Flipboard. (http://www.flipboard.com/)

This is the content browsing experience this device promised, but hadn't quite delivered until now. It's free, try it out.

I should mention that the Twitter and FB integration is being rolled out on an invitation basis, but even without those two components, this is a great app. I can imagine that once I get the Twitter and FB integration in there, this will be my default news and blog browsing source.

Just installed it. I'll check it out.

I got my Twitter/FB invite today and once you get those in there, this shit is literally a personalized magazine...it's pretty amazing. There's a few things I'd like to see changed, though:

-The option to add more content boxes. There's some cool ones out there but currently you're limited to 9.

-More customization in how the Twitter updates are "selected." It's great for browsing links from Twitter, but to just read the stream it's pretty, but not useful as you kind of lose sense of the time-line.

-In general just more control over whatever algorithms are being used to select and order the content. I'd like to, say, always promote links from certain Twitter users and stuff like that.

Yeah, I have to second this recommendation. I love Flipboard even without the Facebook integration. That said, they kind of dropped the ball on the release. They had no contingency plan for success.

I agree with everyone.

I'm enjoying it a lot so far and I'm excited to see how they update this app.

Sometimes, I just leave this app running at the "cover" screen when I leave my iPad lying around on my couch. It makes me feel like I'm living in the future.

That looks awesome, almost makes me want to buy an ipad. :)

It's a really impressive app right out of the gate. There's room for improvement in the way that the deck and linking for each article is generated (ideally, I'd like there to be one less tap between the abstracts and the full text) and I've noticed a tendency for it to repeat the automatically-selected illustrations, but beyond that it works beautifully.
