Wicked Lasers caused quite the stir when it announced its beastly 1 W Wicked Lasers S3 Arctic Spyder III, a laser which can burn human flesh and easily blind. I love where the article says Lucas first got the design from. If you ripped off the look from some other person, you shouldn't bitch when another company borrows/copies from your "creation". Especially if the original design is still available, which in this case according to the article is.

Seems more like a Trek phaser to me. They'll never be able to make a proper knockoff lightsaber until they can cap the lasers distance, which is theoretically impossible, isn't it? But maybe we can at least get something like Travis Touchdowns beam sword! Kids of the future are so fucking lucky. And little brothers of the future will all be one-armed.
