Hey, I was just coming here to post this very thing! When are we going to rock out, man?
I like the suggestion box they included at the end. I suggested the bands They Might Be Giants, The Apples in Stereo, Cake, and the song "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin.

"Over the Hills and Far Away" would have been my Zeppelin pick, but you're spot on with the other bands mentioned.

Don't Lets Start I think would be the perfect quintessential TMBG track. The instrumentation lends itself very well to a Rock Band arrangement.
Birdhouse would be better suited for when (if) they add keyboard and/or multiple vocal tracks.

I bet the tracks will be revealed before the launch of GH:WT and that they will be released around the same time as GH:WT.

Found this on joystiq in the post about the registration being open. I would be pretty stoked if this were the actual list. http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74768
Against me!, turbonegro, and rancid?! Check please!

Thank you. Thank you for recognizing how awesome that song would be. I want it so bad. Definitely my #1 Zep pick.
As far as the 20 songs go, they better not be all Harmonix bands, but I have a feeling they will be, at least in part. Why else wouldn't they have released the list?

If that list is in any way authentic, I'll be a pretty happy kid.

Well, I see something wrong with that list. Bandages has already been released. That does help with the credibility of us getting the rest of those though.

I requested 'Freebird', 2 tunes from Frampton Comes Alive, and one of my guilty pleasures, 'It's Only Love' by Bryan Adams and Tina Turner.
As for that list from PAX...I dunno. I'm more old-school, so apart from 'Bad to the Bone' there's nothing there that interests me.

Woohoo, I've been waiting for this. I've already emailed Harmonix with a few suggestions for bands and songs but I would kill for some damn Kings of Leon.

That is a pretty awesome track, but my vote for a Zep track would have to be "Ten Years Gone"

Seems that you and I are almost equal in musical tastes. I would definitely by RB2 if all of those were released.

Hmm. Looks like some more of those songs are being released this week. Guess that was just a list of songs that are coming out.

The Haunted is pretty decent. I'd like to see more metal though. They've got lots of metallica which is awesome, and some other thrashy bands. But something more recent and heavier would wet my appetite

I think that this combined with the in game store (which is genius), should avail more Rockband owners to downloading titles.
Or it could just be like Mass Effect PC, and the songs were not ready.
