It's that time of year again, kids. Last year there were a few stragglers who didn't let me know they wanted badges until after I arrived... *shakes fist*

Design is a draft, particularly the back which is kind of a mishmash of ideas right now. It'll probably get tweaked once Mightbe starts finalizing his shirt design, so save the bacon hate for later. ;)

We'll see how big of a batch we're looking at. My plan at the moment is to go the same route as last year (i.e. pre-print tags @ Costco, then take to the shop to have the laminate separately). Way cheaper, albiet with a slightly ghetto-y feel compared to having them do the whole thing.

Mightbe - If you're running a similar design to PAXEast shirts, one thing I might be able to use is a shrunk-down version of the astronaut pics with the "Featuring" tags. Maybe even cropped to the tip of the flag on the right side (i.e. no saucer). That could go on the back. :o

(edit: The above dimensions are shrunk down for a forum post. I'll get you the actual back size if you need - basically I'm working assuming 300dpi)

As for shirts, you'll have to ask mightbe. He said he'd try, but that he was also swamped with work stuff.

I threw in a buncha names up top, those I think are going, and those I made badges for last year. Just trying to firm up the print list so I'm not doing last-minute adds onsite. :o

I could look into doing a design, but my photoshop skills are amature at best. I'll work on one a bit tonight and see what I can come up with.

You still have time. The key part is knowing the exact size you want to go with. I was limited by the sizing of the lamination pouch the printshop used. Find out how big the pouches are, give yourself about a 1/4" extra room. On my end, I used a blank template sized to print both halves on a 4x6 photo, which I sent to Costco.

The other key part is having the names ahead of time, as you'll be printing one per. Actually the shop I used preferred if I printed 2/per incase they had a lamination incident and needed a spare. ;)

the list on page one is from prime 2010. so far as i know (unless mcdead chimes in) there arent badges being made for east 2011.
