Kingston 16GB USB 2.0 Data Traveler Thumbdrive

$23.99 + $5 shipping

$10 cheaper than most other places online before shipping? Hell yes. I can finally ditch this 4GB Geek Squad hard drive I got for free. Pro tip : never buy a Geek Squad USB drive.....slow as hell.

Nice.

Fair warning on those, though. The 'retractable' nature of them can leave you buggered if the mechanism fails (it was a problem on the earlier models).

Never buy a Geek Squad anything, ever. Biggest bunch of rip off artists I've ever seen.

I don't usually use that feature of retractable drives anyway. It'll probably stay open all the time.

I love shirt.woot, personally. I got a shirt from them last week. $10 for a high quality, awesome shirt.

Good enough. Enjoy.

In hindsight, I realize that for $50 dollars I could have had a couple of gifts for my parents from woot that last two days. I could have gotten Mom a pink mp3 player, and Dad a nice USB key.

Wait for the offer for the Bandolier of Carrots. Sometimes turns up good stuff.

Have you seen Firedog yet? Those damn cars drive around my place all the time. Amazing how many people have computers and have no idea how to use them. Then a company comes out to exploit their ignorance.

I had the same realization at 11pm last night. Well, not about the mp3 player, but I've got two presents taken care of now!
