I swear, late 2007 and the whole of 2008 can fuck right off. Twice.

Y'all know the kind of year I've had up to this point, so I won't bore you with a rehash. However, just when I thought it couldn't possible get any worse, it did.

My PC died... My only PC. I've spent four days troubleshooting and I've come to the conclusion that it's the motherboard.

I now don't have a PC at the time I need it most. To make matters worse, I'm writing this on a borrowed Mac!

I used to think that these kinds of things happened in threes, but I'm proof that that is not the case. Unless, of course, it's a three-year period. In which case...I don't even want to think about it.

A borrowed Mac? At least your on something that can pass as a computer. When my PC died earlier in the year I was surfing the internets on my PS3. Try being limited to that for several months.

I hope you can get your electronics working man, at least until Skynet takes over and you have to lead us to victory over the robots.

edit: At least you probably don't have to worry about fixing your PC and then having it red ring the next day.

Try having to walk to the library everyday for a few weeks to a few months.

Wow... sorry for your loss, considering the awesome PC games coming out this month. You can always play the 360 or PS3 in the meantime, right?

Cheap NForce mobo > new 360

And there are a lot of Nforce haters here who'll blaspheme, but fuck them. Mine's working wonderfully and cost less than $100.

Bah. Dude buck up and get positive. I have seen 7 mechanics and $2000 in the whole all of October. The past three days however, I'm smiling as if I was in love. Hmmm there was Monday when i thought I was going to kill myself, but I was able to calm down and even recover the next day. Like back to smiling and laughing. Shit's hard but keep on pushing forward.

Why buy Nforce when you can buy a Gigabyte or Asus intel-based mobo for half as much. No self-respecting gamer needs on-board graphics.

I'd give you my old PC and / or parts if shipping wasn't a concern. It's seriously old hardware, but at least you could run PS, internet, and office programs if you needed to :(

I think I know most of what you've been through, and you don't need a hug, you need to bitch slap a god or two and tell them enough is enough
