After an extended break due to 2/5 of the cast being at E3, the F.U.D.Cast returns with our take on Sam Fisher’s third game, Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. While it was a game that was mostly liked by the crew, some of us felt that a game like Metal Gear might be a better entry in the stealth genre. We also muse on our favorite takedowns, the need to interrogate everyone (one of our members is very OCD when it comes to games like this), and whether or not this game takes itself too seriously. So join Curt, Javier, Ryan, Jeremy and Drew as we continue down the spiral that is the F.U.D.Cast.

Javier, you need to understand the difference between camp and cheese. The serious discussion between MGS and Splinter Cell; they're on totally different wave lengths and it's based on those definitions.

And why didn't you guys discuss examples behind "Tom Clancy's hokey" story... Everyone agree's that's the reason why the story is goofy, but no one comes up with any examples or reasons why... have any of you ever read a Tom Clancy book before? Or played any Tom Clancy game before CT? The Rainbow Six series wasn't hokey. The First Splinter Cell game wasn't hokey. CT was the first hokey storyied game I've played from TC.

We were too busy enjoying ourselves to answer every question you may have had.

Boiler room with the bombs was the "controller destroyer" part for me as well. That sucked.

Anyway, good cast.

The bathhouse? That level sucked. Not as bad as not being able to find that god damned retinal scanner in the server room though.

the bathhouse i ran through... I found probably 2 bugs but it didn't give me any problems. I blatantly walked up to the civilians and smacked them in the head to shut up them...

Oh shit, I got that level confused with Hokkaido. Yeh the Bathhouse SUCKED too.
