Campbell Soup Company is recalling nearly 15 million pounds of canned "SpaghettiOs with Meatballs" due to possible under-processing, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Thursday.
Under-processing? Ew. I may never eat those things again. Not that I ate them often before....ew.

I'm terrified that "under-processing" is even a term that the FDA would use.
I assume (hope) it means undercooked in some way? But wouldn't they say undercooked?
Regardless those things are awful, even for a college student. Michelina bitches!
If you don't have a freezer, eat ramen, peasant!

I hated them even when I was a kid. Underprocessed? What they didn't homogenize the rat parts enough?

I like 'em well enough. Not fine cuisine obviously but I've had a lot worse, and I can forgive a lot when something's cheap.

I never liked the ones with mysterymeatballs anyhow.

I had an ex that used to eat the Meatball Spaghetti-O's. She had them for lunch one day, several hours later she swapped one of those meatballs into my mouth while we were kissing. She thought it was hilarious, I was on the verge of murder. It is still one of the single most disgusting memories I have.
In hind sight, there were a lot of signs that the relationship was doomed.

Wait. She kept a "meatball" in her mouth for several hours. And then swapped it to you? You have far more self control than I good sir.

A girl like that can be scary. Think of what else she could in her mouth for several hours and swap it. I hope she at least has the courtesy to keep yours and not someone else's to swap.

I assume it means they failed to neutralise the larvae.

Uh-Oh! Spaghetti-Os!
I never ate that garbage to begin with. They're saying cans as far back as October 2008!!
...and yes, they are saying that the meatballs may be under cooked. A piece of their machinery is faulty and they don't know how long it hasn't been working.

I ate it as a kid back in the day. But all I can think of now is "noodles in throwup sauce" because that's what a former coworker of mine described it as once.
I tend to agree.

Yeah, constant fear of snowballing was a factor in our breakup. ;)

Thats a pretty accurate description.
Its like someone ate (drank?) a bottle of ketchup and then puked it back out.

So I guess they do QA inspections every two years for spaghetti-o's. Glad I haven't eaten them in over 30 years.
