With the launch of Charlie Brooker's Dead Set on E4 and 4DVD, the Borehamwood outbreak is now open to Urban Dead players, with permanent zombification, fast zombies and a battle for the Big Brother house. The map will remain open for four weeks.
Welcome to Borehamwood. To coincide with the airing of Charlie Brooker's Dead Set this week, and the launch of the DVD on the 3rd of November, Urban Dead is allowing its players to explore the infected environs of Borehamwood.
Survivors are warned that, unlike Malton, there are no NecroTech facilities in Borehamwood. This means that there is no way for dead survivors to be revivified - once you become a zombie, there's no going back. And no matter how good you are with a headshot, zombies can always stand back up.
The dead are a lot faster on their feet in Borehamwood; if a zombie without the Lurching Gait skill spots a survivor, they can click the 'Rage' button to instantly gain that skill at no XP cost.
We've also got five signed copies of the Dead Set DVD to give away. Find out how to win one.
Borehamwood will be open for one month, after which point the area will be put into full quarantine and new signups disabled.
Anyone up for some PKing or general team work? I know we had a lot of fun PKing during Moneroeville.
I've already created my character.
