This should be interesting
1. If Insomniac's game is already in development, we may see the unveiling of the name and type of game it is and maybe when it will be coming and to what systems.
2. They will show off games that will use Move (already out technically with Tiger 11) and Natal. I think they are tipping towards Move at this point and I expect more sports games this year to have the ability to use it. Not sure about Natal.
3. Medal of Honor, Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2, EA Sports MMA, Madden, NBA Jam, Risk: Factions and many others will be shown.
4. Criterion's next game will be shown. Rumor is it is the next NFS game, but who really knows.
5. Hopefully Battlefield 3 will finally be unveiled

I think this is the conference I'm most looking forward to, moreso than any of the console presentations.

Unfortunately it looks like Ea's own stream is down. I'm watching on YouTube's E3 channel (http://www.youtube.com/E3).

New NFS might pull me back into a racing game. First time since the first NFS Underground.

PS3 lead platform on both games so far?

Looks that way.
Edit:
Said after the Dead Space 2 demo...
If that looked like a cliffhanger, it's because it was. Find out how it ends tomorrow at the Sony show.

With respect to the fact that all we saw was a minute or two of people shooting each other, it looks rather like CoD: MW.

All versions of Medal of Honor will have a beta starting next week. MoH looks even better than Bad Company 2.

That was precisely the impression I got. Granted, I wasn't watching too closely, but it didn't seem like there was much reason to.
Interesting to see them going back to Vietnam with Battlefield. Last time wasn't exactly a smashing success, although I happen to think it was a bit underrated.

This is already waaayy better than the Microsoft conference.

Crysis 2 looked pretty, although the gameplay didn't set my pants on fire. I'd really hoped they were going to show some of the claimed vertical aspects, but no such luck.
Now, it's Bulletstorm time. Yeee! Hey, that's Spike Spiegel's voice!

I'm expecting a lot of stupid fun. Movement seemed a little more sluggish than I'd prefer, and I was disappointed at how little damage the enemies seemed to do (never looked like the player was in danger) but that was probably just for the demo.

Star Wars MMO... yawn.
And more trailers that play nothing at all like anything we've seen in-game. Gotta love the adrenaline pumping, shaky-cam war documentary style footage, advertising a game where players stand still as statues and blast each other until someone falls.
Yawn seconded.

I enjoyed the vid, but I suppose we are just watching the sort of thing that plays the first time a player visits a zone, before he sets off on his first fetch quest for the area. :(

"Greetings traveler! Look upon the riven landscape of Alderaan and despair. Each day, the battlefront grinds another mile of our world into dust, and soon the whole planet shall be a ruined wasteland... yet hope remains alive! We can halt the holocaust, you and I, if only I had 15 Bantha skins..."

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit looked sweeeeeet. I love Criterion.
Dead Space II looks like it has added just what it needed to spice up the monotonous gameplay of the first while beefing up the weapons across the board.
MoH looks like a CoD/KZ2 clone with a slightly different palette. Sweet mp onstage demo, though.
Bulletstorm looks like it might be one of those games that are so over the top and so goofy that they end up incredibly cool. It almost made my dick fall off there at the end.
You know something is horribly wrong with the Star Wars MMO when all they show is a CGI trailer.

I'm actually rather ok with that. It wasn't CoD's gameplay that turned me off, but the meta-crap with the PC version's matchmaking, the many preventable epxloits, and so on. MoH can use and improve the formula. I'll still check it out.
I've been trying to look into the EA Gun Club thing, but the site seems predictably slammed. Probably be a few hours before it's usable.

Not being a fan of racing, sports or fps games they didn't seem to be much for me but I'll keep an eye on Dead Space 2 & Bulletstorm

Is there going to be a summary of what was announced, ala the MS press conference? Reading though a liveblog after the fact is kind of dull. :p

I'm looking forward to seeing more about player ships in SW:TOR. That could be rather fun if they develop it enough.

The Bad Company expansion is good to hear, but it is too late. They needed it to be now. By then they will have missed their optimal window of opportunity.

Madden 11 will feature 3 on 3 co-op play, as well as a whole new way to handle play calling/playbooks utilizing the headset.
Innovation from Madden? Another sign of the apocalypse!

So....weirdness. Because Fortunate Son is used so often in Vietnam movies, I use it as my dad's ringtone. He flew the Huey UH-1H in Vietnam, and I honestly can't hear that song without hearing Huey blades.
So the trailer started up, I could hear the Huey, and then the song, just a few minutes after talking to my dad.
I dunno, there is some negativity, but I'm totally sold.

Vietnam was fucking great. I put more hours into that game than any in the series so far.

How about because it's awesome?
The audience for this is all about the PC anyway, BF:V never hit consoles.

I liked the look of a lot of those games, especially Hot Pursuit (I used to love Most Wanted, back on the GameCube). Certainly made for a more enjoyable conference, I think.

I have to say, even as fun as the gameplay looked at times, the dialogue in Bulletstorm pained me. I get that it's supposed to be over-the-top, but given what I saw today, I'd probably still have to mute the damn thing.

Most likely.

Hey look, they turned Crysis 2 into a scripted ADD game á la CoD. I'm not surprised but it sucks that they're not making a sequel to the part of the game that was actually (very) good.

Pretty much everyone outside the US

Yes, and voice chat is terribly bugged on it too.
