This doesn't look like horseshoes or handgrenades. Wii MotionPlus = win

Yesterday Sega of America announced that it's long awaited sequel to the shooter hit Conduit on the Wii will support the Wii MotionPlus accessory. This is used in conjunction with the original title's customizations to add another depth of precision control. However the MotionPlus accessory is not required to play Conduit 2, relying on the out-of-the-box detailed control system alone. Not to belittle the built-in control system, as Conduit's fame was partly built on it, but knowing Conduit 2 will support the MotionPlus technology is a comforting sign the series is headed in the right direction.

A Wii exclusive, Conduit 2 is scheduled for release fall of 2010

High Voltage know how to make engines and design control schemes. It's everything else I'm worried about.

It bothers me that Wii MotionPlus isn't used in MOST games at this point. Two years ago, it was announced with Wii Sports Resort. Last year at E3, they showed it with Wii Sports Resort. I told the Nintendo rep, "It's been a year since you announced this thing, and still all we have are this one game and a couple sports games. Will there be anything else?" He said things were in the works. By "things," he apparently just meant Red Steel 2, because it's another year later, and here we are.

Red Steel made great use of Wii Motion Plus, but I have a feeling we won't see too many games relying on it until Nintendo builds it into every Wii remote from here on out. That probably won't happen until we get a Wii 2/SuperWii/WiiHD.

The Conduit already had great controls, so I'm not really sure what Wii Motion Plus can add.

But remember, the first game was a failure because everyone knows its a failure because the internet said so.
