We've suspected it for months, but now we have official confirmation: gamers who purchase the November issue of Sony's Playstation-centric online video magazine Qore will get access to the Playstation Home beta.

Both subscribers and one time purchasers of Qore will get access to the beta. Single issues of Qore run $2.99, with annual subscriptions costing $24.99.

Last time I paid for a demo, I got the game Crackdown with it. That seemed like a REALLY good deal.

Does this mean that the open beta won't be hitting in November after all? Or is this their idea of an "open" beta?

Apparently, there was a miscommunication. According to Shacknews, you can't buy just a single month of Qore and get access to the Home beta.

As an update to the PLAYSTATION(R)3 News email sent on Friday, October 24th, the special invitation to PlayStation(R)Home's closed beta is available only to Qore annual subscribers who purchased subscriptions by 10/29. Qore Episode 06 purchasers will not be eligible for the special PlayStation(R)Home beta invitation at this time. We apologize for the miscommunication.
