- Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops will include full 2-4 player co-op throughout the campaign (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gamehunters/post/2010/05/more-on-call-of-duty-black-ops-with-treyarch-studio-head-mark-lamia/1).
- Capcom is working with a Korean developer (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3179234) to produce a Mega Man Online MMO. It's unknown if the game will spread past the Asian markets.
- Best Buy is apparently launching a new gaming magazine called @Gamer (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/11/best-buy-taps-future-us-for-new-game-mag-gamer/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+weblogsinc%2Fjoystiq+%28Joyst iq%29). Because I guess LoLGamer, WooTGamer, 1337Gamer were all taken.
- URLs registered by Warner Bros indicate that they're working on former Midway properties (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6262110.html?part=rss&tag=gs_news&subj=6262110) Career Criminal, This is Vegas and Gauntlet.
- A dedicated group of Halo 2 fans noticed that even after the servers for Xbox 1 games were closed down, they could still join a game already in progress. And they kept that game going for nearly a month, until yesterday when "Apache N4SIR" finally dropped game (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3179240), as the last online player of Halo 2. With luck that will be the answer to a question on Jeopardy some day.
