Visible from Space. (http://science.slashdot.org/story/10/05/05/1654258/Beaver-Dam-Visible-From-Space)
The 2790 ft. long beaver dam, built (where else) in Canada, is over twice as long as the Hoover Dam, the world's largest man-made dam at 1244 feet long. (Though both will be dwarfed by the Three Gorges Dam when it opens, at 7661 ft.)

Wait, so all that brown is a beaver dam?

Oh, I thought it was just the spots the arrows were pointing to... suppose that makes more sense, though. (I'd RTFA, but Slashdot just keeps re-loading.)

Original Sun (UK) story here (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2958779/Beaver-dam-seen-from-space.html).
Maybe it's just along that line, not the whole brown area from the first image.
