BF:BC2 Dr. Pepper Unlocks

Was just on www.slickdeals.net, and saw there is a way to get all 4 unlocks from the Dr. Pepper promotion without necessarily having to purchase Dr. Pepper.

I was at first under the impression this could be purchased separately, but apparently that's only in Europe. I would have rather bought them, then buy soda for the codes.

The instructions aren't too hard to figure out, and I managed to get all 4 to work.

The codes are universal and can be used by how ever many people that want to use them. However they can only be used once per account so you have to make 4 different accounts to do it.

I ended up getting 3 of the 4 and then accidentally grabbing a mass effect 2 item. Figured I end up buying a Dr pepper at some point to grab the last one.

That's how I feel. I have a bunch more codes on my desk (sorry, they're spoken for by IRL friends) because I drank like five gallons of Dr. Pepper. Now, I normally drink a fair amount of diet Dr. Pepper. But I normally do it in 2 liters because it's WAY cheaper. I drank like a billions 20 oz bottles to get enough codes because I didn't realize it was a one-to-one ratio, you only need four codes to get all four unlocks.

Basically it's new camo for each class and a camo paint job on one (and only one) gun for each class. I knew that going in, though.

What I didn't know is that you can use the camo gun even if you haven't unlocked it yet for that class, so I now have the M95 on my recon class. Suck it, camping sissies who earned it the hard way ;)

Once you do it once, you get a hang of it. I really hate DLC that gets limited to region specific promotions like this, even if you were a legit customer it would still require you to create four email addresses to redeem them.

I used [entersomething]@mailinator.com and just entered crap into every other field.

This goes for all the EA Dr. Pepper premo stuff, if I'm not mistaken. It's certainly easy to obtain all the Mass Effect 2 items(And you HAVE to obtain at least the Sentry Interface or Recon Hood, they're the best looking helmets in the damn game)

The achievements are broken and don't unlock btw for the US folks.
