I'm starting this thread because I'm registered for PAX Prime 2010, however, I don't think I'll have enough funds to secure a decent hotel room close to the convention center. I'd like to find someone or even a few people who'd like to split the cost of a room. I'm really very pleasant to be around. So, if you're going and have an empty spot in your hotel room and like saving money. Post here. :)

That's very tempting since the main reason Joey and I are thinking of skipping this year is the lack of funds. Since there would be two of us (if that's okay with you guys), it'd be even cheaper for all of us, you and Dan included.

But I'm just thinking out loud. It's totally up in the air if we're going to make it or not.

Downside of course is it's not local to downtown.

Upside is it's free, and you'd have ringside seat to the tour of gluttony. :D

Gee, twist my arm to spend that much more time with you two. Yeah, that's mooching badly. :p ;)

The only caveat is if the turnout's anything like last year, the house started to look like a refugee camp, so it's not like you'd be the only ones there. ;) In fact, I told myself if it got too crowded this year I'd bail and get a hotel room nearby. :p

But yeah, lemme know how it goes. :)

Just booked my room at the Sheraton. I'd be more then willing to have a CoGer or two stay in the room, but there's already 4 of us in there. If we can sneak you past security, you don't mind staying on the floor, and you don't annoy the hell out of us, you are more then welcome to shoot me a PM.

Apparently the Sheraton's been keeping an eye on how many people are actually in the room ever since another con's attendees have been taking advantage of that and acting like assholes. You can still try, but I'd be careful with putting too many people in there.
