I finally sat down and watched this after putting it off for too long, and was I ever amazed. I remember reading a lot of recommendations on EvAv a long time ago, and I'm glad I listened. I was raised on the Batman Animated Series so I may be a bit biased. I went on to Amazon to add the Blu-Ray (http://www.amazon.com/Justice-League-Frontier-Special-Blu-ray/dp/B0010AEPHS/ref=wl_it_dp?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2IDATHWBTPLVK&colid=17VWTDSQEK0FU) to my wishlist, and noticed that the reviews are all over the place! A few are from concerned parents complaining that it was too violent for their children and such (it was rated PG-13 for a reason, people), but there are lots of disappointed Batman TAS and Justice League fans! It only boasts an overall 3 1/2 star rating, which isn't that bad I suppose, but I think it deserves much higher. I know it felt a little rushed, but it was a movie comprising of as many JLA members as possible and their back stories. Was the movie too liberal? I read a complaint about that and almost spit my milk out, but I guess I can see where they were coming from. Figured it was general opinion that McCarthy was bad, as was the Red Scare. Anyway, here are the reviews:
5 star: 31% (52)
4 star: 21% (36)
3 star: 15% (26)
2 star: 15% (26)
1 star: 16% (27)

If you've seen the movie, what's your verdict? If you haven't, what the hell are you waiting for? If you're even remotely interested in comic books or super hero cartoons, get this now.

I didn't like the voices. By the end it wasn't so bad. I liked the movie a lot over all. I just want more Timmverse.

5 out of 5 if I were to go give it stars on Amazon. Actually...(clicks your link)

Ok, I gave it five stars on Amazon.

The movie is amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a Justice League fan (or if you like animation, super heroes, good movies or any combination there of).

In other words: If you are reading this and haven't gotten it yet, do so!

EDIT: Wow, I went back and actually read your post and my summary is the same as yours. High Five!

Caught it on Cartoon Network a couple nights back. I loved the style, and was really into the setting and storyline... however, by the end, I just felt like it was rushed. They tried to cram too much story and too many characters into the allotted time, and it ended up not so much a story anymore as a string of loosely connected events. It's like someone hurriedly trying to recap WWII in a half-hour.

Overall, I was terribly impressed with the production, and I'm excited to see what the studio will do in the future with a more generous running time. It showed a lot of promise, and I'm eager to see them deliver on it.

They just took out the most awesome part of the comic: Wonderwoman calling Nixon an asshole.

Seriously, It was like they removed any element that may appeal to adults.

I thought it was really cool. Green Arrow may not have had any speaking parts, but he sure did save Batman's bacon.

Heh, i think a lot f the disgruntled Amazon reviewers were upset about their favorite character not having a bigger role. I thought the voice of Batman was awful, but his lines were great (I've got a $70,000 piece of rock for the man from Metropolis, and a penny for a matchbook for you) and the first scene of him where he is tearing up the cult members was awesome.

I thought it was pretty awesome the first time I watched it, but definitely requires another viewing at some point.

For me, you cannot have an Animated Batman not voiced by Kevin Conroy. But I really liked NPH as the Flash. The rest of that voice cast was somewhat inspired. Lucy Lawless is Wonderwoman.

That voice cast was top notch, and was not just folks in to cash in a check.
