While we're all waiting for the next round of the awesome PA/D&D Podcasts, Wizards has put up a new series of videos relaying the adventures of five writers from Adult Swim's Robot Chicken having a go at a 4th Edition game. The DM is again Chris Perkins (from the PA podcasts) and a couple of the players are new to D&D, so it's interesting to see how they pick up on rules.
All 25 episodes are here, each episode is around ten minutes each.

They're not quite as hilarious as the PA ones, but it's still very entertaining to watch. And of course, very much makes me want to play D&D.

I prefer the PA casts, but they should really take a note from this and do the PA ones with video too. I don't mind just the audio, at all. But actually seeing them play just adds that special little something.
What they need is a website that has PnP games from various universes, and a collection of videos of people playing them. Have channels for Shadowrun, Vampire, etc. Will it happen? Hell, no.
A man can dream though...A man can dream.

This question actually came up at one of the Penny Arcade Q&As at PAX East, where, when the audience showed overwhelming approval for an idea, they said they would try to work that in for a future session. So, fingers crossed!
I wish I could remember the person's full question, though, because he mentioned some other place where D&D sessions were being recorded and shown online. To the research-mobile!

Awesome. I hope that works out.
They could take it an additional step, and dress as their characters...maybe just once, like a special episode or something. Except Wil. He has to wear his federation uniform. ;)
