Star Fox (SNES) "Nova Bomb". ...Even if it was a little useless, it sounded / looked cool.

or the bomb from Raiden. (arcade) It wasn't at all useless, but it also fits the cool looking / sounding criteria in a similar way as the Nova Bomb does.

This, or the MOAB from Mercs 2. I was co-opping with a friend and dropped one on a boat he was on. He was like wtf did you do? I saw a bright flash and woke up on the shore.

The one in Mercs 2 is pretty cool, even though it's dropped and not shot. I still haven't seen anything better than ME2's M-920 Cain though.

I'd have to go with the Redeemer or the one from Fallout 3. The MIRV gun in Fallout 3 specifically. It's really fun to put on the unlimited ammo and god code and just fire off about 30 nukes into a long arc and see them carpet bomb a town.

Pretty wise the FO3 one is up there too. Since with VATs etc you could watch people turn to mush in slo-mo.
