I was just forwarded a handful of new screenshots for Focus Home Interactive and Pendulo Studio's Runaway: A Twist of Fate, the third and final episode in the Runaway trilogy.
As a recap, the first two "Runaway" episodes brought back the success of point and click adventure games in Europe and captivated nearly a million players. After a colorful second episode which took place in the islands of Hawaii, the creators of the game lead us into a more mature and urban universe for this last adventure with Brian and Gina. Following the story of the previous game, "A Twist of Fate" is also very much an independent adventure, allowing those that have never played a "Runaway" game before to fully enjoy this brand new experience. Also, for the very first time in the "Runaway" series, the game will allow you to control Brian as well as Gina who has an important part to play in the story.

I never did finish the first game in the series, but I thoroughly enjoyed what I played. Some of the puzzles were a bit .. off, but there were some great characters, and the art was fantastic (and looks to have gotten even better in this release).
.. I may have to go dig up my disk and finish that one off now

Looks like it's got some Don Bluth action going on there. I like!

I actually really liked the first Runaway game. I haven't done much more than play the opening cinematic of the second one but I should rent it again and try to beat it. They're both solid games but veer almost uncomfortably on the campy side of things.

I've been tempted by these on Steam for a LONG time cos they look very cool and I'm always up for some point and click, but everyone I've talked to in the past that played them says they're terrible.

The lead character is a tool but the story and supporting cast is quite interesting and it's definately a top-notch production on the technical side of things. I wouldn't pay $50 for them, but if they're $15-20, they're worth it.
Again, I have only played a bit of the second but it seemed like it was basically more of the same, and that is a good thing if it means more solid point & click adventure games.

Maybe if they make it into one of the weekly sales some day I'll finally be pushed over the line.
When does that cool looking Vampire point and click come out?
Haven't heard any news on it in a long time.

Which Vampire P&C? One of the many Dracula games or one based on the White Wolf license?

Nah it was some small independent team making a cheesy but humorous looking original point and click about Vampires. I'll go see if I can find the name.
EDIT: Well that was easy; A Vampyre Story. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Vampyre_Story)

I bought the first two, but either I'm a moron or the puzzles were too esoteric because I could never figure out what the hell I was supposed to do. Out of frustration, I'd cave and hit up GameFAQs "just this once" until I'd just-this-onced my way through the entire game. Not a big fan, and I generally love point and click adventures.
But I absolutely love the art style and overall presentation, so, yeah, I'll be buying this shizz like the sorry bitch that I am.
