Waiting for the inevitable Steam sale. I played through the demo 3 times, though.

Bought it when it came out. Waste of money. Not very entertaining overall and honestly it seems like it looks worse than FA. I played through the campaign and with the new resourcing and research setup it's more like Supreme Commander: Generals.

Some people like to turtle as their method of playing RTS games, most games punish people who do this, supcom and supcom2 are one of the few games to allow it to be a viable strategy. If base building RTS's are going extinct its cause developers arent spending time to do them right, imo supcom2 does an admirable job.

I don't know what it is...there just aren't many anymore. Any suggestions for some recent ones I may not have heard of?

I have it and I like it for exactly all the reasons most people hate it.

Disclaimer: I did not like the original SupCom.

GoGamer has SupCom2 on sale for 29.90. I'm really tempted.

Just grabbed it for free from Razer giving out keys. I'll try it out today and see what happens...
