Very sweet. People who haven't seen the original for that movie should watch it too to see how good a job he/they did.

The maker has also released a video showing his trailer side-by-side with the original. It's amazing.

Hands down the best use of machinima I've ever seen. The most realistic custom animations as well. Brilliant.

Beats the pants off all the terribly unfunny TF2 machinimas that rely on over-exaggerated facial expressions and creepy puppet animation.

The only thing that would've made it better is if they'd substituted a level 1 sentry for the daughter.

Watched the movie last night finally. Glaring plot holes (The setup is terrible...Whenever a crime is committed along with a murder, such as robbery,. it becomes felony murder. One of the guys got off with 3rd degree, despite there being a witness. I know it's for the story, but come on) but if you can ignore that, it's not a bad little thriller piece. When you find out who his accomplice is, and the lengths he's gone through for this...

Honestly, it can only be made 1000x better by using TF2 characters.

I would have liked the film better if he'd gotten away with it.

I agree, it's not as though it was a happy ending anyway. Everyone still died. I also found it stupid that he didn't know someone had gone into his lair. He went through all that effort and didn't even put a tripwire or piece of tape or camera in that little area?

My thoughts exactly...all that work and they don't replace the sentry? It seems like that would be the inspiration for all this. It's still great, though.

I was thinking the same thing.

Actually, I think if he would've taken the cell phone, given it to jamie Foxx's character, and sat back down on his bed, it would've been a more powerful ending. He'd finally 'learned his lesson' through blood and fire, and his task was somewhat done. True he wanted to bring the whole system to it knees, but he'd said before he would've been fine had Foxx maintained his integrity and lost the case. I think the theme of the movie should have focused more on that. Still, wasn't a bad movie. Not a great one, but enjoyable.

That would have been better too. I agree with you there.

Was definitely a fun movie though. Both played their parts convincingly.
