For those not familiar with C.C. Sabathia or why he would be in this video, his team, the New York Yankees, triumphed in the World Series over the Philadelphia Phillies, whose ace Cole Hamels is a noted Modern Warfare enthusiast and appeared in the "Fight Against Grenade Spam" PSA about a week before his team was defeated.

Hamels, you may remember, pretended to raise awareness of the social ill of grenade spamming in last year's Internet-only viral video. But the obvious acronym made by the name of his cause got Infinity Ward in a bit of a mess, and the video was removed about 48 hours after Infinity Ward placed it on YouTube. Let's also note the contrived "F.R.A.G.S." acronym, with the R (for "Really") italicized in the title card. That is what many (including one of Kotaku's own commenters) said Infinity Ward should have done to both keep their trailer's edge flavor while avoiding the sour tinge of homophobia.

So, let's see: Make fun of a direct competitor's game. Make fun of an embarrassing situation for them. Punk their celebrity endorser. Check, check and check, mate.

Dedicated servers, free DLC, lesser hack-fested gameplay in general: Check, check and check, mate!

The funny part is, I haven't even been spawn camped in BC2. But I know a dude at work who has been.

These guys are just firing on all cylinders, aren't they.

God I wish I could afford my copy. I wanna play it soooo bad.

What sort of hardware are people running the PC version on? I didn't get into the beta, and there's no PC demo, so I have no idea how it'll run on my rig.

Phenom 9950, 8800 GTS 512, 4GB RAM here, and it runs on medium-to-high pretty well at 1920x1200. It can slow down a little towards the end of a multiplayer game when everything's been blown up and there's debris everywhere, but perfectly playable.

C2D e8500 3.16ghz, 4gb ram, 5870, max settings and all pretty smooth.

Guess I'll need new cpu, mobo, ran soon enough though.

I haven't seen one case of the spawn camping I've heard about. Last night we tried to spawn camp the enemies spawn with a tank. We quickly got destroyed with rocket launchers.

I guess if you suck or out numbered, it's possible to get camped. Other then that I don't think it's something to be concerned about.

Just like BF2! I love sneaking around back and capping flags, sometimes you will miss out on some points for lack of action but things can get intense when 5 guys drop back to defend and you find yourself in a wicked fight.

One thing that has really grown on me is the size of the maps, they are just large enough for someone like me, who likes to do most of his travelling on foot. Karkand was my favorite BF2 map but sometimes you would have a fairly decent hike.
