This is very unfortunate, as the inclusion of Spawn in pretty much anything automatically makes it considerably less awesome. Science FACT.

Also: time spent on such a crossover is less time spent where it should be, on a Monster Girl vs the Lizard League story arc.

Spawn's right leg is really huge.

He's gotta have that spiked boot so he can kick some serious ass, duh.

What the hell happened to Spawn? In the 90s he was awesome!

I thought him becoming an angel, then a god was pretty cool but that was one arc. Now the guy isn't even Al Simmons.

Spawn isn't dead yet? Oh good god.

And that Guardians of the Globe thing has got to be some sort of spoof. The inclusion of Rick from The Walking Dead seriously makes no sense :p

Spawn was never awesome. Its a book by an artist who thinks he can write.

AND who hates Batman. Wow, the amount of hate that man has for Batman is uncanny.

Lifting that giant boot clearly caused unnatural growth in the leg... it all makes sense now. My aologies to the douchebag McFarlane.

No he wasn't, he was what was wrong with the EXTREEEEEEEMELY RADICAL 90s.

Yeah, because it made perfect sense to us. :p

There might be a GOTG book in the works, but with all the Invincible characters. I'd like that. Robot is totally badass.

EDIT: Al Simmons is the main villain in the Image United crossover. Or so it seemed in the first issue.

The advertising campaign is taking a shot at Marvel's avengers campaign. I highly doubt these character will be in the new book (with the exception of Invincible).

I totally thought he was. Then again, i was between 10-15 when i was reading it, and I'm one of the few who enjoyed the 90s comics (while i enjoy the 00's comics too, i've grown weary of "big comic universe all encompassing events" every 3 weeks).

Event fatigue isn't very original.:p

There were a few good comics in 90s. None of them sold for shit. It was all holomagic superarified mega cover collector's speculation that crashed the industry. You can't really blame Todd though, he was the front runner for independent comics and Image, and Image is producing(OK! facilitating) some of the best comics the medium has seen. It was more or less what made Vertigo. He's still a douchebag though.

EDIT:
If this ever gets published, I am totally buying it in every edition available. :D
