Soon I will be rolling out a podcast on my site. General nerd events and news the subject matter. I can offer that should the show make any sort of money, an equal share for all hosts, but that prospect is somewhat distant.

Given the population around here, thought some of you have something to add. There are only two things that I need to know: Can you be funny? Can you record at or around 8:30 AM EST on Sundays? Drop me a PM or E-mail if you like or just respond to this.

Are you thinking skype? I would love to do general nerd chit chat but 5:30 AM PST on a sunday would KILL me.

EDIT: And so would my wife!

Yeah it would be Skype. I have a pretty good method for recording them. I have a skype plan to make phone calls as well. The time is somewhat negotiable. But late afternoon and evening shows have killed me because the time to edit and post can take me to the wee hours of the morning. The Immortal Machines podcast was recorded at 9pm. 2 hours worth of recording time, then the editing and loading process could take until 1am

I am also no longer living alone, ambient noise is also a concern later in the day. At least until I can construct some studio space, soundproofing, etc.

I doubt I will have a professional recording area but I have a computer and microphone. I hope you aren't concerned about quality too much. It's understandable, I use it for online gaming but it's far from professional.

Interference is really the only thing to worry about. I can fudge a lot of issues. I have also found that me software cleans up a lot of problems, that I hear at the time of recording. Also, I have yet to use a USB mic or headset that does not sound perfectly fine.

It sounds like fun, my only concern here would be a time difference. Sadly, i wouldn't be very entertaining that early in the morning. I am free most of this weekend if you want to do recorded audition. Any way I could convince you to wait until around 9AM PST? I know that's noon over in your parts so I understand if it doesn't work.

But I have plenty of love to go around. I like to have multiple hosts, for a myriad of reasons. The casting call is not over.

Hmm I'm always doing nothing on Sunday mornings and semi-interested. Perhaps I will make a bid as well... someone told me I had a movie announcing voice while raiding on ventrilo once ;p

It is somewhat liquid, I am leaning more to 12 pm EST. But late in the day generally means I am up untim like 2Am editing and uploading. I spell out some of the details in here somewhere.

It will also limit my desire to drink during the show. Listen to some of the I'm podcasts, you can pinpoint the time I have had one drink too many by my volume and demeanor.
