At EvAv we had a thread dedicated specifically for our partners/spouses/socks, so I thought I'd start it up again here. If I remember correctly it was called the Wives/Girlfriends of EvAv or something like that, but we're a more accepting lot here at CoG so there's a name change involved.

And I think it should be noted that sig others give permission to be displayed. I think we're all adults here and all that and know rude and crude comments can happen and to laugh them off. But if they don't want to be shown off in the first place, should be a good idea to let em know or whatever.

I would assume so and I do not actually have a problem with white knights. But obviously its not intended for that but instead a "get to know the COG" kind of thing.

Not going to make a rule or anything on it, I was just floating it out there because such a thing came up in the previous thread at the previous place. I believe some users even got in trouble via their SO for posting their pic. I distinctly remember at least one SO that was very hurt by what was said about them by the users as well.

In no way do I treat my wife as trophy. I absolutely love and adore her. And I am damn proud to say that she is my wife. Just as I am sure others are damn proud to say that their SO is their SO. Is it really a bad thing if some guy/girl wants to show off their SO?

If someone were to say my wife is hot, I think hell yeah she is! You bet your ass it makes me feel good to have her on my arm when we go out and in my bed at night. If someone were to say she is ugly, I don't care. I think she is beautiful. I don't see the problem with this thread.

Besides, I've known many of you longer than I've known most of my current friends, as odd as that may sound.

It's funny. My friends see nothing wrong with say, finding a friend from high school and posting "Hello" on their Facebook in some desperate grab at youth but NEVER talk to the people daily or see them for over a decade and maybe post once a week or even longer with nothing more than hello or HAHA or LOL. Each to their own. The idiocy of people judging how others find/keep/communicate with friends is almost universal and certainly two sided.

I just refuse to let anyone talk/suggest/discuss my way of communicating with people. If someone were dumb enough to offer even the smallest suggestion that talking to a person on COG was weird would be shut down instantly. Though friends, they can be dumb can't they:)

Off topic I guess but what exactly is the fascination with men shaving off all their body hair? If you look like you're wearing a black tshirt and your shirt if OFF, they yeah you have to do something about that. Nothing wrong with being gay, I love boobs just as much as the next guy, or girl ;) I wouldn't mind being gay, and I'm sure AniAko wouldnt mind it if I were either. Anyway, back to my original point of this....I was just confused as to how liking beards had a correlation with being gay.

Asian women well, they have nice eyes I guess. They tend to be thinner and petite than caucasian women. There is also the fact that asian women are usually more timid and if they are actually from another country they are less likely to make demands or want to buy as many material things as say someome from the Americas.

You know Mags, I really actually don't know. I think women of all types are awesome. I actually prefer caucasian women to asian. I guess the differences in skin color and stuff could also be a turn on. I like a little bit more meat on a girl, hips and thighs are great and it's very rare an asian woman will have either..

I know a lot of women don't like it, but I lucked out with my wife. I can't remember if she doesn't care or actually likes it. I think both.

I literally had little to no hair on my chest/back until I went to college. I think the beer was like fertilizer and BAM! each year it just kept coming in and even my arm hair got darker.

I'm glad my wife likes my hairy bod, but I've had her help me get rid of it from time to time. In the winter it's uncomfortable as the static electricity is awful and it's hard to moisturize the winter's dry skin away when you have a carpet on your body. :)
