Ninety-Nine Nights 2 Coming this Spring

Konami has officially announced that they will be bringing Ninety-Nine Nights 2 over to the states for the Xbox 360. While the original was a modest success in the early days of the 360, there was some doubt that the sequel would see the light of day here in the West. Until now.

The sequel will retain the play style of the original - a mash up between Dynasty Warriors and Lord of the Rings - with hundreds of enemies on the screen at one time. It will also feature 2 person online co-op play.

Ninety-Nine Nights 2 will be released for the Xbox 360 this spring.

The worst thing in the first one was dying while you were in a level only to have to start the level from rthe beginning.

The first was fun in a bargin bin type of way. I think it cost me like £5 and I got my monies worth. I do not see me buying this one for much higher unless it turns out to be some sort of sleeper hit.

I dunno, maybe it won't be good, but games like Dynasty Warriors set a pretty low bar for this type of game. Also, wasn't KUF: Circle of Doom pretty shitty? It's not like we're overwhelmed by top quality games of this type.

I liked the first game, though I never beat it due to the mother fucker of a last boss.
I will probably give it a rental, but I hope the framerate is better than that.
