- THQ has signed a deal to make Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune games for the Wii and DS, with other platforms a possibility. They should be in stores later this year.
- E-Play, the vendor who supplied Wal-Mart and BestBuy with kiosks used to run game trade ins has ceased operations (http://www.industrygamers.com/news/wal-mart-best-buy-quit-short-lived-used-games-test/). All of their units already in those stores will be removed in the next few weeks. So endeth the great used games experiment at those two retailers.
- The 3rd person shooter Stargate: Resistance will launch on the PC on February 10 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=233331?cid=OTC-RSS&attr=CVG-News-RSS).
- Traveler's Tales has set a May release date for Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4.
- Just a reminder, the final season of Lost premieres tomorrow (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?t=15327).

Damn I love Jeopardy. If they made a cheap PC version I could play online, you'd need a crowbar to pull me off it.

Just saw a trailer for this the other day and much to my surprise, it doesn't appear to be terribad. In fact, it actually kind of looks fun, so consider me officially shocked.

I wonder where they hid e-play at my local best buy; maybe it was there, but was my kiosk filter was active.

If they would have put these kiosks in places other than Bumfuck, Idaho they would have gotten a much better response. I'm sure in a major city (or one with a population over 100K) they would have done well. As it is these things were practically in a fucking cornfield that you had to bribe Jebadiah to let you get to.

Yeah the kiosks hadn't been rolled out very widely yet.

I agree. The kiosks probably would have done better in big cities. For now, ToyRUs and Amazon have taken Gamestop's place as my trade in spot. Both usually give better trade in values (even with Gamestop's trade in "deals"). Also both offer a wider selection of things to use the credit for.
