Well, on Stargate: Atlantis he played a character named Conan the Barbarian, and he pulled that off decently.

Mamoa's a better actor than Arnold was and he's like 12 and a half feet tall. I don't know a whole hell of a lot about Conan but I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who is a good actor and has the muscle mass to pull it off.

If you ask me we need to lift the restrictions on human cloning so we can make a couple younger copies of Ron Perlman.

Interesting. He's not exactly what I picture when I think of Conan, but he's got a good physical presence and his acting isn't terrible. Also looks like Marcus Nispel is directing, who directed Pathfinder and the remakes of Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I'm probably all alone in this but I really liked Pathfinder, so color me optimistic.

That's the thing, you do. To do it properly you need strength of character as well as body. It was always the great joke, a barbarian from the north always ending up the most civilized man in the room and no one knew it until much later in his life... even when drunk out of his skull and covered in women.

EDIT: Also the earlier Dynasty Warriors games were awesome. Now they're full of magic or some nonsense with all these obtuse additions no one wanted.

Yes.

But, don't you see? This is really the best kind of DLC - They make their DLC money, while you don't miss out if you don't buy it.

I loved the PS3 one, it had great spectacle and could be played by people who weren't good at fighters so made a good party game. I hated the Ubi one. The models weren't right and the gameplay resulted in hitting wooden blocks form constant teleporting all the fucking time. The moves were very limited (throw was basically the same for everyone) It also had a crap selection of fighters.

Depending on what features are available on the 360 version of Just Cause 2, the YouTube thing might push me to buy it for the PS3. I need more sandbox games on that system anyhow.
