It asks an awful lot for age verification, but yeah...there's the first trailer for a movie based on a 30 second recurring SNL skit.

I am a fan.

I have miniscule expectations.

Huh, stops working as soon as the guy says "pile of ash". Oh well, I doubt it was worth viewing!

Yeah, it wasn't worth posting, much less viewing. I should have watched it first. I'm actually a big fan of the skit itself, most of them, but this is crap-tastic, save for a few moments.

Oh another SNL movie? I'll pass, thanks.

So, does anyone know the only kind of cola he pours into his mouth hole? I'm doing a paper for school.

It looks stupid as hell. Like any other SNL movie...funny ass skits, terrible movies. And WOW Val Kilmer has put on a little padding lately...

Wait, you mean this thing is actually happening? When I first heard about it and saw the imdb listing I assumed it was an elaborate prank or some kind of viral ad thing.

The website has the most obnoxious age-gate ever. "It sucks so much, we'll annoy you till you leave!"

It kept saying 'Age Could Not be Verified' so I went to Youtube and found the video.

NBC has digital hounds always sniffing for their contents on youtubes. God forbid anyone outside the uncivilized wilderness of America catch their free made-for-web content that nobody is ever going pay a license for anyway. Cunts!

According to his twitter WWE Superstar Chris Jericho is doing some scenes in the movie....it just got 100% more awesome.

SNL is still on the air? Why?

SNL is still on the air? Why?

Because the digital shorts and the news are funny. And maybe one day they will find a cast that doesn't suck and it can be good again.

I imagine after all these years SNL is very low cost for NBC as well. Plus it's still a very coveted gig for guest hosts and bands. Besides; what else will they run late Saturday night?

The past season or so has been quite funny.

Yeah, I've been a big defender of SNL the past couple of years, trying to get my friends to give it a shot again and whatnot. This year in particular has been really great. That said, I don't think the MacGruber skit can hold up for an hour and a half...

The scared straight skits are hilarious.

"1.21 Jizzawatts in you BUUUTT!"

Fuck this... Where is Hot Rod 2?

My mind is open on this one. It's made by the Jorma Taccone (who writes all of the digital shorts), so we'll see how he does in long form. Also, although it does star Kristen Wiig, who I kind of hate, Maya Rudolph is listen in the credits, so we'll see how that works.

"1.21 Jizzawatts in you BUUUTT!"

The best part of those are towards the end, where Keenan Thompson tries to make Bill Hader break by doing something that he doesn't expect, and didn't do in dress rehearsal. And it works every time. Last time, he gave him a wet willy, while Jason Sudekis was chanting, "Do it! Do it!"

Also, What Up With That? is great fun.

What up with that? was fun the first time, but then they over-did it.

Jason Sudekis in the track suit still gets me every time. It's strange; in the past, I've always hated when SNL repeats a one-joke sketch week after week, but I don't mind at all when they repeat What Up With That?, probably because it's so infectious.

The writing has definitely improved, but I am still not a big fan of much of the cast. Especially that woman who does the damn Gilli character. Every one of her characters is the same, and atrociously un-funny.

Funny, I haven't really enjoyed this season at all.

I've been a defender of the show for a few years, and I love the cast, but I just don't know who half these kids are that they've been getting to host.

Yeah, that's Kristen Wiig. All of her characters - ALL of them - are trying to be funny just by being annoying. You can't annoy me into laughter. I truly, truly think she's blowing the writers.

And for some reason IMDB deleted my post when I said that on her page.

Lorne didn't want the truth out there. He told IMDB to clean it up asap. Yes, she is horrible. And all of Kenan's characters are just loud. Really the only person I get anything from is Andy.

Bill Hader is the mother fucking bomb. And I concur about Hot Rod 2. Or hell, just a Lonely Island movie that isn't SNL based.

Funny thing, I thought the Charles Barkley(Kenan) and Bjork(Wiig) Iconoclast skit was hilarious.
