Going to rent Hurt Locker this week, missed it in theaters. Saw Moon and it was great. Strange how Brothers Bloom is out tomorrow, I saw it on the shelf at blockbuster last weekend.

Sands of Destruction is this week?!! Damn, I though that was later in the year.

I know, it was on my radar like two years ago, then I forgot about it. It was made by some of the Xenogears team, right? I know Yasunori Mitsuda was involved, and even went back and redid some of the soundtrack he was unhappy with for the international release. The man's dedicated.

Torchlight? Huh?

Yeah, last year they announced that they found a publisher for a retail release. Which they can keep, because Steam's DRM is WAY better than having to put in a disc. It does include the option to have a ferret as a pet, though I'm sure they'll patch that in for us.

The Hurt Locker is a great movie, everyone should check it out. I'm really looking forward to The Book of Eli, the release date makes me a bit nervous but I'm hoping this is one of the few flicks that defies the release date quality classification.

I was just reading a writeup about Sands Of Destruction a couple of days ago. It had completely slipped off my radar too. I didn't realize it was coming out this week though!

I want to read a few things about it before I run out and buy it. It sounds neat but I've got a stack of games still on my shelf unplayed that I bought last year because they sounded neat... and I really need to try to stop doing that!

The Hurt Locker is a great movie, everyone should check it out.

I succumbed to the press and bought The Hurt Locker on DVD yesterday, and I am amazed at how original and well-written it is. It's much milder (in regards to profanity, gore, and violence) than I thought it'd be, but the suspense is nerve-wracking. I loved it.

My only complaint is that - as with most thrillers - the suspense is pretty much spent on the first viewing. Watching it again, the surprise is gone.

Still - incredible movie. And I was a big skeptic.
