In a recent Major Nelson podcast, the Major had this to say, "You want to get your hands on it and I don't blame you, because you'll enjoy it. In fact, if you want to get your hands on it, let me just say this: keep an eye on my blog next week. If you want to get your hands on it early, that's all I'm going to say."

Shouldn't that be "peek" instead?

Are people really that excited for a new Xbox interface? Though, if it loads my list of Arcade games faster than the current interface, I'll be happy with it. The amount of time it takes to produce that list makes me wonder how responsive populating those pretty cover flow style panels will take.

I am excited for it. A cross-game party system is something I've been waiting for for a while.

As someone who has been waiting 2 years for 16:10 monitor support, yes.

I've also got around two dozen arcade games, it'll be nice if that list loads in a reasonable amount of time.

I'll tell you what I want to be able to do. I want to be able to delete games from my "played games" list at will. Not the scores attached to them for achievements, mind you...I just want to be able to delete the name from appearing. I still have titles I demoed from prior to the supposed fix for this issue. I tried them and deleted them; didn't buy them...they're still there. It's annoying and makes my played games list super-ass long. Let me delete them from my own UI, MS!!!!! Is that SO DAMN DIFFICULT?

Damn straight! That and the fact it's supposed to be faster, and having access to everything when in game. Hitting the guide button now, and having to wait two seconds while it pops up is a tad annoying. If they can speed it up, I'm going to be happy.

Not the interface itself, but being able to play games from the HDD.
