What arcade games do you enjoy playing? I didn't know if I should post this in this section or the PC section Console's seem to have the more mainstream arcade games so this seemed like the logical choice.

I still love playing Uplink, Defcon, Darwinia, and Geo Wars.

I spend most of my time with Puzzle Quest and the Pixel Junk games.

Castle Crashers gets a full clear every other weekend or so.

Castle Crashers, Puzzle Quest, Pac Man CE, Geometry Wars 2, Super Stardust HD, Lumines....there's more, but those are the ones I've played the most.

It's like golden axe with character development and 100x more badassery.

How neat. I'll have to check it out next time I'm near a xbox unless I get one sooner it sounds like this and Geowars2 are on my top priority list.

I'm crazily addicted to Catan and Frogger. Also, I don't know if you'd call it an arcade game, but Dr. Mario Online Rx is like black tar heroin to me.

I'm up to 30 arcade games on the 360 and 5 on the PSN. Best games in my opinion are Geometry Wars 2, Wipeout HD, Bionic Commando, Castlevania: SOTN.

Rez, Carcasonne, Bionic Commando and Pixeljunk Monsters. Maybe I'll look into Wipeout HD this afternoon.

I'm hopelessly addicted to Geometry Wars 2 (at least, when I'm not playing Rock Band) and if you're looking for a high score challenger, feel free to add me.

Tag is in sig. Now if only I could get that Smile achievement...

I've been loving Castle Crashers for a while now, despite the fact that it needs a patch before it's safe to play online (you can lose your saves). I also enjoyed Braid and Geometry Wars 2 recently, and always loved the original Geometry Wars. Marble Blast Ultra is one that people don't seem to remember these days, but it was a ton of fun in the first six months, and had great multiplayer. Bomberman Live is great, when it's not lagging. Both Catan and Carcassonne are a lot of fun, but I haven't played them nearly enough. I think I may be the only person who bought and enjoyed Jetpac Refuelled.

Geowars 2 has to top my list. Followed closely by Braid, Lumines Live, N+ and Carcassonne.

I like how N+ was almost the last thing you mentioned, when your avatar IS the ninja. :D

Oh, you play GeoWars? I didn't know! You must be really low on my leaderboards :p

Please don't hurt me in NHL...

Ticket to Ride is my favorite game. Feel free to challenge me any time you feel like getting your ass kicked.

Dude, I bought Jetpac and I really liked it. I suck at it, but that goes for a lot of these arcade titles.

Good to see you've registered here, Heretic.

Any time I'm bored I usually whip out Catan or Carcasonne. Especially the latter since I got the expansions the other day. Freaking crack those games are.

Catan, Carcasonne, Puzzle Quest, Uno, and Braid are my favorite Arcade Games. Though I have Bomberman and Worms too and love them.

Puzzle Quest, Bionic Commando, and Uno. I'd love to get into Catan more, but I haven't been lucky enough to do so in quite some time... and Worms, that's just clean fun.

I was okay at it, until I got to the invisible critters. Game over man, game over.

Same to you :)

Oh yeah, I forgot about Puzzle Quest. One of the best XBLA games, I can't wait for the new one.

There is an x-pac for XBLA's puzzle quest for those of you who are interested.

It's a tad bit pricey for my taste though.

I've been meaning to check out Puzzle Quest ever since the Internet's collective adoration for it upon its release. Would the XBLA version be the best choice?

I only played it on DS, and it was enjoyable, but I am waiting to buy a copy of a Puzzle Quest game - waiting for the hex Galactrix version!

My wife is hooked on Puzzle Quest. She tends to play it before she goes to sleep, although I don't know how that helps her when she goes to sleep.

I play Texas Hold'em still on Live, as well as Boom Boom Rocket when the mood strikes me.

From what I can tell the cheating is a lot less on the 360 version the DS version which was the only game I ever played where it was pretty much accepted that it cheated.

...I miss when "arcade" meant an actual physical place and not Microsoft's online service. In that case, I'm playing Street Fighter 4 :P...

...as far as Live Arcade, nothing at the moment since I've been playing nothing but Rock Band 2 whenever I turn on my 360...

Well, there's probably a healthy amount of discussion that folks would like to do about stand up machines.

But it wouldn't be in the "Console Haven" forum.

That's kinda the sad part, though, isn't it? There isn't even a place to talk about them... :(

I'm sure your threads wouldn't get deleted if you wanted to talk up a particular game in The Lounge area.

Last time I went to a friend's house, it was Bionic Commando for a few hours.

Also: Street Fighter II Turbo.

Not in the face! And beware of Food in Age of Booty. It's not that he's abnormally better than you at the game like he is in FPS's, it's that he's so cutthroat that he wouldn't waste his piss on you if you were on fire. :D

Catan has been dominant lately. My new roommate (as of May) has people over to play the actual board game occasionally, so I've improved a hell of a lot over where I was (sorry FoodNipple). I also want to unlock a few more characters in Castle Crashers and give the hard mode a real shot...but they really need to fix the multiplayer connectivity issue.

I should devote some more time to Bionic Commando Rearmed, and maybe play through Castlevania SotN again since it's been awhile.

I'm pretty sure I have you on my friends list, but if I don't - could you send me an invite? I'd love to have more people to play Catan against. :D
