I love the Dead Rising one-up Achievement. :D

More importantly, how obtrusive will they be to in game content? Like TF2 will you need to grind to unlock content?

Achievements all look like they will occur naturally through playing the game. I didn't see anything particularly insane.

Dead Rising:
Zombie Genocider: Defeat at least 53,594 zombies.
Left 4 Dead:
Zombie Genocidest: Kill 53,595 Infected.
That is amazing.

See, the genocide one doesn't seem as impossible in this one as it did in Dead Rising... perhaps it's because you will be slaughtering hundreds of zombies very quickly?

The only one that looks like you'll have to go out of your way to get is the one in which you hand someone else your medpack even though you're down to 10 health or less. It appears to be a one-time thing only, so it's no big deal.

What Are You Trying to Prove?
Survive all campaigns on Expert.
I love Valve's naming of achievements.
Dead Rising:
Zombie Genocider: Defeat at least 53,594 zombies.
Left 4 Dead:
Zombie Genocidest: Kill 53,595 Infected.
That is amazing.
Is that number a reference to something that anyone knows of?

I believe the number in Dead Rising was the population of the town it took place in.

If I recall correctly, it was the number of the population of people in that town.
Why does anyone care about Achievements, I thought most folks were getting the PC version.

The Dead Rising one was easy. It just took a bit of time of riding a truck around in the underground tunnel.

Cute. Valve, for the most part, makes hilarious and fun achievements.

So many little details done right. I love games that go the extra mile with the achievements. There's nothing I hate more than having to view them through the guide. Listing your online friends in the corner is another smart addition.

What?!?! Why didn't I know about splitscreen on the XBox? I may have to convince my internet-challenged buddy to get this.
