There's always so much important stuff happening in New Zealand.

Funny enough, when I was at high school in Wellington, I actually worked at that MacDonalds that they mention.

So, was that off-the-cuff, or all planned ahead of time.

It's nice to know some politicians are, you know, people too and can have a laugh.

It wasn't planned, it's what happens when well educated people who don't have huge sticks up their asses start debating. Tragic part is shit like this used to happen in parliaments around the world, now...

Well, to be fair, I can see how some people might prefer the stick-up-the-ass politician, at least here. I mean, if they're going to treat someone to a fat paycheck and gold-plated health insurance, they might want them to actually earn it.

Not really. The outright conflict the American Legislative branch uses to solve its differences is less constructive than that. Which is the sad part.

Indeed. I'd prefer politicians more like these guys to the crap we have no in both Canada AND America.

Because this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBvryavwV0w) (not even the whole story, thanks unbiased ABC!) is so much better. Or maybe America where self righteous anger seems to eclipse even my own.

I'm just saying, so long as they're not getting anything done, they might as well be just as miserable as the rest of us. :p

I mean, I may have missed it, but did they actually accomplish something in the OP's clip?

Piss all, it's Question Time, nothing happens during Question Time anyway.

They didn't destroy a healthcare bill. :p

I have no idea what Question Time is, but I'm assuming, yes, it involves questions and, quite possibly, follows Nap Time.

That's pretty much it.

Basically Question Time is a time when the Opposition can ask specific members of the Government questions, in theory anyway. In Australia it's pretty much used to hurl childish insults at each other and generally makes arses of themselves.

After that it's Drinky Time then Nap Time.
