CoG may not be able to reach total consensus on when to count the official decade, but others are also coming out with their "best of" lists. Billboard has released its picks for the last ten years, and the results make me wonder if this doesn't instead belong in the "Humanity is Screwed Up" thread.

The top 20 artists list is essentially a who's who of the hip hop world, with the top "artist" of the decade going to Eminem.

Mariah Carey is at the top of the best songs pile with We Belong Together. Other songs in the top 10 include such thought provoking ditties as Boom Boom Pow and Yeah!

As for album of the decade? I'm just going to say it. No Strings Attached by N'Sync.

Fuck, our world just might end in 2012. God might end it because of our music alone.

Sometimes I'm not surprised the terrorists hate us so much. :)
