Sadly, this is a game that seems to have fallen through the cracks. I needed a game this past Sunday, 10 dollars and 2 minutes later my wish was granted. Here is a snipit of my review. If you need more bright lights and a warm feeling in your heart, especially after heavy fare like Dead Space, Peggle is the prescription.
The best way to review Peggle is to give Jeff Green’s and Shawn Andrich’s review, “It’s fuckin’ Peggle.” More solid positive reinforcement, with cute little cherubs cheering you on. There is a majesty, a grace to this game that none can understand. But what weirds me out about this next installment is that there is a story where we learn the dreams of the different masters, with a new master revealed at the very end. Mechanically, Peggle Nights does some new things. It is, noticeably, more difficult. I found myself taking several attempts at the final pegs on many levels, always behind in many of them. There are more obstacles and moving parts in many of the levels. One added feature is that the bar shaped pegs, often outlining some character, can now rotate. There are narrow windows of high point possibilities opened up by them. Lamentably, not something translated to non-moving screen shots.
The Peggle Review in total, with screenshots. (http://newsforgeeksdaily.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=58:well-it-is-just-more-peggleawesome&catid=35:games)

i'd check the forums to see if the DRM is still in use on steam... as some games still come with there own DRM

For some reason this game doesn't quite have the crackish appeal of the original. Not sure why.
